There are loads, and loads of plugins to Firefox, and they are there only to be used by you. This time we are going to talk about two extensions. Ad-Block, and Ad-block Filterset.G Updater.
- Adblock, is a tool designed for you to block all of the ads that you dont want to see. Closer look? Press here!
- Adblock Filterset.G Updater, is a set of url's that adblock blockes for you. These are all advertisements beeing blocked, and i have never missed to watch an ad. Closer look? Press here!

The podcast 'Security Now' resently had a episode on a similar topic, however that included editing the HOSTS file in \windows\system32\drivers\etc\. by adding hostnames there, with bogus ips, like 0.0.0.0, you coud stop some adevtisement on an early stage...
